Proper care of your shoes is key to maintaining their beauty and longevity.
Each material has its own needs—but one rule always applies: start caring for your shoes the first time you wear them.

🧴 Initial treatment

We recommend waterproofing new shoes before wearing them for the first time.
Ensure the shoes are clean and dry before applying an even spray or a suitable care cream.
After application, allow the material to absorb the product completely before applying a second or third coat.

Repeat the waterproofing regularly—especially after wet cleaning or frequent use.

🪶 General care and maintenance

Over time and through natural wear and tear, every shoe surface loses some of its protection.
This is completely normal – but you can slow down this process by using high-quality care products, ideally with natural oils and waxes that nourish and refresh the material.

👢 Materials and their care
Smooth leather

The classic, elegant material that always stays in style.
Use a care or shine cream regularly, preferably in the same color as the upper material, and then polish with a soft cloth.
Avoid moisture and let wet shoes dry at room temperature with shoe trees inside to maintain their shape.

Nubuck and suede

These materials are characterized by their soft, velvety surface.
Clean them with special rubber or soft bristle brushes and use sprays to refresh the color and waterproof them.
Avoid conventional shoe polishes – only use products that have been specially developed for nubuck or suede.

Patent leather

Elegant and eye-catching, but delicate.
Clean patent leather with a soft, slightly damp cloth and only use care products for patent leather.
Avoid waterproofing agents or sprays containing solvents, as these can reduce the shine.

Nappa and brush leather

These types of leather are soft, smooth, and shiny.
They require regular, gentle care, similar to smooth leather: use clean cloths, light creams, and repeat the application regularly.

Synthetic materials

Synthetic shoes are easy to clean—simply use a damp cloth or soft sponge with a mild detergent.
Shoe polish is not necessary here.
Avoid aggressive cleaning agents or hard brushes that can damage the surface.

Textile materials

Textile shoes are often used for summer and casual shoes.
Brush them dry regularly to remove dust and, if necessary, use foam sprays for textiles to refresh colors.
Do not wash in the washing machine!
After wearing, use shoe trees to maintain the shape and alternate between pairs of shoes to keep them looking good for longer.

🧼 General care tips

Clean your shoes regularly after each wear.

Do not treat damp shoes with creams or sprays.

Change your shoes regularly to prevent material fatigue.

Use a shoehorn to protect the heel area.

For leather soles, a protective sole is recommended to reduce wear.

Allow shoes to dry in a well-ventilated place, away from heat sources.

⚠️ Always follow the labels

In addition to these recommendations, you should always follow the care instructions on the labels of your shoes.
Each manufacturer provides specific information about the materials used and the recommended care.
It is important to follow these instructions in order to maintain quality and not jeopardize your right to return or exchange the shoes.
